Some listeners seemed a bit confused about the specifics of our announcement on the May 22nd Carl Reiner episode, so here’s a written explanation for the sake of clarity:

Every Monday, we’ll post our new episode with ads, as usual. And they’ll remain FREE, even after June 19th.
(You can hear them at Earwolf, iTunes, and right here on gilbertpodcast.com.)

After 6 months, those episodes become part of Stitcher Premium.

Example: the episode posted June 19th will be free to everyone until Monday, December 18th. As of December 18th, it becomes part of Stitcher Premium. The following week, the episode posted on June 26th will be free to everyone until Monday, December 25th, when it becomes part of Stitcher Premium . . . and so on. So you have 6 months to listen — completely FREE! Make sense?

The point is, you can still listen, every Monday, FREE, even after June 19th!

Now, as of June 19th, if you want GGACP episodes without ads
OR:
if you want the Colossal Obsession MINI-episodes:
OR:
if you want access to our back catalog of both GGACP and Colossal Obsessions, please join Stitcher Premium.
stitcherpremium.com/gilbert

If you join, and use the promo code GILBERT, you’ll get a 1-month FREE TRIAL. After that, it’s $4.99 per month
OR:
$34.99 per year. BUT, if you use the promo code GILBERT, you’ll get a 1-month free trial, PLUS $5 off!
So that’s $29.99 per year.
Or $2.50 a month
Or just 8 cents a day.

AND: when you join Stitcher Premium, you get a LOT more than our mini-eps and ad-free main episodes: you also get:

*Access to 200+ hours of original podcast mini-series and audio documentaries.
*Over 120 stand-up albums from people like Louis CK, Aziz Ansari and Amy Schumer.
*The ad-free archives of some of the world’s greatest podcasts like WTF with Marc Maron, Comedy Bang Bang, our friend Paul Scheer’s How Did This Get Made? and a lot of other good stuff.

Now, if you don’t want to join Stitcher Premium, but haven’t gotten around to listening to Dick Van Dyke, Bob Einstein, Jimmy Webb, Steven Wright or any of your other favorites, or you love “One-Hit Wonders” or your name was mentioned on a “Listener Mail” episode, and you want to download it and listen at your leisure, feel free to go get ’em now. Download EVERYTHING you want so you’ll have it after June 19th.

As I said on the May 22nd episode, Gilbert and I love doing this show. It’s an honor and a thrill to talk to the performers we love and we’re grateful that so many of you have come along for the ride. We have more terrific guests lined up and we intend to keep doing the show as long as we can. We hope you’ll continue to listen and support us.

Thanks,

Frank Santopadre
